Verify · Agent 2 of 6

Verified before it’s written.

Verify benchmarks every claim against multiple independent sources before a single word is generated. The defense against AI hallucination, built into the workflow.

“How do I know it didn’t make this up?”

It’s the only question that matters. AI can write fluently. AI can write fast. AI cannot, by default, write true. The latest fact-checking data shows 16% of audited claims now involve AI-generated content, more than double the prior year. Hallucinations aren’t a bug, they’re the failure mode of generative models running without grounding.

Most newsrooms have responded by adding a fact-checking layer on top. That works, slowly. It’s also the most expensive thing to scale. So either you don’t scale, or you ship hallucinations.

A47 doesn’t sit on top of the production process. We sit underneath it. Every claim is verified before generation, not after.

Three checks. Every claim. Before generation.

  1. 01

    Multi-source benchmarking

Verify pulls every reported version of the story from independent wires and primary sources. Disagreements between sources are flagged. Single-source claims are flagged. The agent writing the story never sees an unvetted fact.

  2. 02

    Multi-model claim audit

Each claim is independently audited by multiple frontier models running in parallel. Consensus is required to pass. Dissent is escalated to your editor.

  3. 03

    Source credibility scoring

Every source has a continuously-updated credibility score based on its track record. Your editor configures the threshold.

Three stories on a47news.ai, each labelled with its source count (9 sources) and a verification status badge (Moderate, Low).
Live on a47news.ai: every story shows its source count and verification status. If a claim can't be verified, it doesn't publish.

Verification is configurable. Trust isn’t.

Your editor sets the rules. Minimum source count. Minimum credibility threshold. Categories that always require human review (legal, health, breaking, politically sensitive). A47 will not ship a story that fails your rules. The fall-back is always the editor.

Verify, before the rest of the stack.

Newsrooms touching breaking news, regulated industries, or politically sensitive coverage often adopt Verify first, before the rest of the stack. They license verification as a standalone service, then expand to the full A47 workflow once the trust is built.
